What are weekend services like?
Our vision for worship is to create an environment for people to connect or reconnect with God by using authentic expressions of worship. We accomplish this through focusing our gatherings on worship and the Word in a relevant way that honors the past and preset expressions of worship using songs, prayers, and spoken Word (Scripture). This includes a worship experience utilizing songs, prayers, and Scripture. The ‘Object’ of our worship (JESUS) is more important that the ‘style’ of worship.
How early should I get there?
Plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the service starts. That will give you time to park, check your kids into their classrooms, and grab a cup of coffee before the service begins. Then you’ll want to make sure you get into the auditorium before the music starts. We’ll give you a heads up when we’re about to begin.
What should I wear?
Don’t worry about wearing “your Sunday best” to ALIVE. It’s ok to dress casually around here. If you want to dress up, that’s fine, also. Just make sure you are comfortable.
What about my kids?
ALIVE Kids is designed for children from birth through fifth grade. Your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ. ALIVE Kids is led by staff and volunteers who will be there each week to care for and love on your child. By the way, we utilize a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents.
